Our Mission
Our Mission at G.C.A. is to provide the outdoor industry with professional outdoorsmen, keeping the men and women who guide, wrangle and cowboy working whilst relieving the individuals who hire them of the stress of building the best teams for their unique buisness.
How It Works
We search high and low, vetting potential workers, to ensure that your team is experienced/knowledgable in the field that they work. We present these workers with Worker Agreements that covers 1-3 year time periods of career consulting and managment. This allows us to search for potential work on their behalf and negotiate a fair wage for both parties.
We present potential employers and businesses with what is called GSA or General Staffing Agreement for each worker for each position for the allotted period of time. This agreement covers the wage agreed upon and the alloted period of time your business needs service.
We charge each potential worker a 10% commission on any work connections that G.C.A. presents. This commission is taken off the top of the worker's gross daily wage and paid directly from the staffer to the agency. This means that, you, the staffer can continue paying your workers direct as you always have, and that using our services to help build your team doesn't cost you a cent more that if you found the workers yourself.
Attached to your General Staffing Agreement you will find Exhibits. These Exhibits cover all of the criteria the agency has to offer in regards to our roster. Pick and choose the criteria you need for your team. We currently only sign agreements with North American Workers, this means we have expereienced workers from all over Canada and United States. Choose from bear guides, moose guides, sheep guides and others like wranglers, skinners, ranch hands and even camp cooks. Experience levels currently are no less than two years of experience in their chosen field, that means you don't need to train your workers!
Every worker on our roster are independent contractors, they have signed and acknowledged that they understand that they are responsible for their own taxes, insurance and more. These workers are also encouraged to have their first aid certification and commercial vehical insurance.
