FAQ's from Outfitters
Q: Do you have guides available for any season?
A: Absolutely, every worker on the roster is looking for an opening in their season. However their schedules fill up fast, if you know you'll need workers for your 2019 season I would urge you to book them quickly.
Q: If I like a worker, can I request for them specifically for 2020?
A: You can, if you find that one of the workers from the roster fits perfectly for your team you can request for them for the following year through the agency. This ensures that you are secured in their schedule and won't get brushed off if a better offer crosses the table. But remember that these are independent contractors and they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, if they so choose.
Q. I'm nervous about confidentiality bringing in new workers into my area. How do you cover that?
A. Within your general staffing agreement you will notice a clause covering confidentiality of your business operations. The workers have the right to let the agency know anything that is going on, but that information stops once it reaches my ears. Confidentiality is hard to enforce, that is why I try to do my due diligence when interviewing guides for the roster.
Q. How does this all work again?
A. I have separate agreements in place with the worker and the outfitter. The worker agreement covers the consulting responsibilities between me and the worker, while the general staffing agreement covers what you can expect from the worker you are receiving, and what you are agreeing to pay the worker. I skim 10% of gross daily wage earnings, excluding tips/ bonuses, from the worker.
Example: The outfitters agrees to pay the worker $150 per day for services. The outfitter will receive an invoice from the guide of $135 per day, for the allotted period of time, that is paid to the guide directly on site. The outfitter will also receive an invoice from the consultant of $15 per day for the allotted period of time, and is paid to the consultant directly. You have not paid anymore than if you never used my services at all.

Q. You have guides on your roster already? People I can pick from currently?
A. Yes I do! I have Canadian guides, wranglers, skinners and cooks on the roster as well as U.S. guides, wranglers and skinners. All of which are experienced, knowledgable and want to get to work!
